Application List

This is a list of applications that you would like to run through GPass. When you use GPass for the first time, it should already have Internet Explorer and your default browser (if it is not Internet Explorer) included in the application list. To add more applications, simply drag-and-drop them into the Application List area or click the Add button to browse your computer to find the appropriate applications and add them to the list.

Besides applications -- exe, bat, cmd, pif files -- you can also add Internet Explorer (IE) favorites or Mozilla/Firefox bookmarks (url files) to the application list. To do so, first drag a bookmark from IE or Firefox to your desktop, then drag the shortcut icon onto the GPass application list.

To start an application, double click its icon or select it first and then click the Run button. When you start applications inside GPass this way, their network traffic is automatically routed through GPass.

You can switch among the Icon view, List view, or Detailed view of the applications in the list by right clicking an application to bring up the popup menu. The popup menu also offers different network rules to start an application, which will be explained in network control.
